Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment.
Arrange bacon in a single layer. Brush with maple syrup and sprinkle with brown sugar, pepper, and cayenne if using.
Bake 20–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until deeply caramelized. Let cool 5 min before serving.
